Hill was at the team\u2019s workout, but he\u2019s not ready to partake in any activities.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-twitter-script=\"true\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Dax Hill (ACL) and Cole Burgess are on the rehab field.<\/p>\n<p>BJ Hill is here but his left leg is in a walking boot. He did not have that in open locker room last week. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/hb8MoJMdbD\">pic.twitter.com\/hb8MoJMdbD<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Paul Dehner Jr. (@pauldehnerjr) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/pauldehnerjr\/status\/1919775521916743860?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 6, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He\u2019s currently wearing a walking boot on his lower left leg, so he was only there as an observer.<\/p>\n<p>There haven\u2019t been any reports explaining the nature or extent of the injury.<\/p>\n<p>However, Dehner reported that he didn\u2019t wear it during an open locker room session last week.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s a chance that this is just for precautionary reasons, and it\u2019s not usual to see veteran players partake in this part of the offseason program, especially when they\u2019re not at full strength.<\/p>\n<p>The Bengals need Hill to be at his best next season.<\/p>\n<p>The new defensive coordinator, Al Golden, will have his work cut out for him so that he can fix this struggling unit.<\/p>\n<p>Hill will join second-year pros McKinnley Jackson and Kris Jenkins Jr. in the interior of the defensive line, with rookie Shemar Stewart and Trey Hendrickson rounding things out.<\/p>\n<p>He just signed a three-year contract to stay with the Bengals, the team he\u2019s called home since 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Last season, he registered 56 tackles and three sacks in 15 appearances, being perhaps the only bright spot for the defense besides Hendrickson.<\/p>\n<p>The post <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecoldwire.com\/bengals-veteran-dt-spotted-in-walking-boot-during-workouts\/\">Bengals Veteran DT Spotted In Walking Boot During Workouts<\/a> appeared first on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecoldwire.com\">The Cold Wire<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(Photo by Rob Carr\/Getty Images) \u00a0 The Cincinnati Bengals\u2018 defense needs a big boost.
