University of Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers may not be one of the best quarterbacks in this year’s NFL draft class, but he seems to have enough potential to attract attention from scouts.

The annual NFL scouting combine to set to begin on Thursday in Indianapolis, and he reportedly has formal meetings set up with three teams.

Those three teams are the Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans.

Ewers had led the Longhorns to two straight appearances in the College Football Playoff, as well as the 2023 Big 12 Championship Football Game.

He was named the MVP of that game and set a Big 12 title game record with 452 passing yards while throwing four touchdown passes, which tied the most ever thrown in a Big 12 championship game.

During his senior season in 2024, Ewers had 3,472 passing yards and 31 touchdown passes while leading Texas to a 13-3 record.

However, there appear to be questions about his arm strength, pocket presence and overall consistency.

The Colts and Titans certainly need a legitimate starting quarterback, and the Jaguars could be stuck with Trevor Lawrence playing well below a Pro Bowl level while recently committing $275 million over five years to him in the form of a contract extension.

The Titans have the No. 1 overall pick in April’s draft, and there has been some debate as to whether they will use it on a quarterback.
